You are the founder of Global Goddess, an international beauty expert, and a celebrity makeup artist. When did your fascination with beauty begin?
I have been enchanted with beauty and that too global beauty ever since I was a young girl traveling all over the world to visit my family.

How was the idea for Global Goddess makeup and skincare line born?
After being a celebrity makeup artist for many years, I realized that no one was talking about all these great beauty secrets I had seen women using around the world. It was interesting, inexpensive and brought about great results. I was offered a publishing deal to write Passport to Beauty and was inspired from women all over the world to create a line that celebrated them and their great secrets

What is the Global Goddess philosophy?
To create innovative products that unlock the treasure chest to the best beauty secrets from around the world. As well as colors that are universally appealing to all skin tones. – That is very important to me since i have always had an issue finding colors.

How is global goddess upgrade complexion face primer different than other primers?
The silicone base fills in fine lines and pores which is great. But we have also infused it with licorice extract which is a brightening secret of the women in russia. It helps to fade spotting and discoloration. I also added a purple light reflection that acts as an optical illusion to blur and imperfections. Its like having the perfect lighting on your skin. you look flawless.

You are from Indian decent and you have also traveled extensively. How did exposure to different cultures effect Global Goddess today?
Since I have traveled my whole life, I have always had an appreciation for different cultures and countries and the unique rituals they have to offer. A lot of these rituals and traditions have been used to make the global goddess products.

What will Global Goddess coconut amla revitalizing hair treatment do to my hair?
It’s the secret of the Indian beauties and their traffic stopping shiny hair. If you use it weekly as a scalp treatment your hair will be full, lush and incredibley lustrous.

What is new with global goddess this year?
We continue to launch in more stores and create fabulous new products. We are also in development with NBC for a show based on my book.

As a makeup artist what facial features are you most known for?
Eyes! Sexy sultry eyes! And flawless skin. Especially hard to match skin tones

What was the inspiration behind your book: Passport to Beauty?
To represent women all over the world and share their fabulous beauty secrets. too much fun!

What is your number one beauty secret?
Sleep and water!!!

With your hectic work schedule what are some of your favorite rituals to relax?
Yoga, reading, and the coveted nap!
